Alpetros Design Services’ expertise is backed by 27 years’ experience in workshop detail drawing of structural steel building and mechanical plant projects. The company services the building construction, fabrication, manufacturing, mining, bulk materials handling, commercial, industrial and infrastructure industries. Twenty dedicated staff members of draftsmen and professionals are capable of handling the smallest 5 tonne to the largest 5000 tonne structural steel / mechanical projects. Using the latest 3D Strucad, TSD4, Autocad and in-house developed technologies, the company continues to offer its clients solutions to complex structures, achieve project deliveries and maintain accuracy and quality of service.
Alpetros has offices in Mackay North Queensland (Head Office), Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Rockhampton and Wonthaggi (South Gippsland) Victoria. Difficult modeling communication between draftsmen at its regional offices is a thing of the past. Strucad’s multiuser system and Alpetros’ own in-house software design and hardware solutions allow the draftsmen to process in a real time environment.
The Company’s range of software drafting solutions and in-house I.T. has enabled it to expand its services to its clients. Roof and wall drafting solutions have been undertaken by Alpetros personnel on complex designs providing builders with an effective detail on difficult elements of the structure. The Company continues to develop its I.T. drafting and modelling solutions and to enhance its services offered to clients.
Alpetros Design Services is part of the Lawton Group of Companies. Its 27 years of business experience has placed Alpetros at the forefront in detailing structural steel. Directors Peter Lawton and Nic Nikolic have overseen the expansion of Alpetros across two states in the past five years.
The Lawton Group specializes in the professional services industry, namely taxation consulting, accounting, finance, financial planning, investment, training, engineering & drafting and commercial art & design. Family members Peter & Val Lawton, Rosanne Lawton-Kirby, Aaron Kirby, John Lawton and David Lawton all work in the group.
