Australian Flood, January 2011 - Effect on Alpetros Design

As a Queenland based company with business based operations at Mackay, Rockhampton, Sunshine Coast and Brisbane we have been affected by recent storm and flood events. These wide spread events are now the worst since recorded data began. Alpetros Designs communication network were down as was our Mackay office based server. Severe storm damage to our Sunshine Coast office added to the production loss elsewhere in our business operations. On 24th January production losses have been contained and all staff have returned to work. Our Mackay office server is expected to be back online 10th February.

Highlited Projects of 2010:

Location: Brisbane, QLD, Australia
The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre expansion is located within Brisbanes' popular Southbank precinct. The structural steel detailing has been Alpetros Design's lead drafting project in 2010, Strucad's multi-user model manager environment was used for this project. Location: North West of Lithgow, NSW, Australia.
The Centennial Coal project near Lithgow in New South Wales is typical of a materials handling coal conveyor expansion project by the Australian mining industry. The structural steel detailing was achieved by four of Alpetros Design's draftsman using Strucad 3D modelling software and made use of the multi-user 3D model manager environment.
